Panel discussion with Independent PR Counselors and media pros about crisis preparedness: The Tips and Tricks for navigating a crisis is a hot topic in Georgia, so join us! From the PR side, we need to be prepared for emergencies that affect our clients. Who can say what by when? We also need to know how best to interact with media and stakeholders in a timely manner. Panel will include three experienced independent communications pros, two of whom have also been on the media side.

The Independent Counselor is in a unique position for his/her client to be part of the crisis team and at the same time offer objective insights. Attend this session to listen, learn and exchange ideas related to crisis preparedness. Learn important steps and helpful tips to develop and maintain a positive image that will help grow goodwill and engender trust. The panel will highlight how Independent Counselors should be involved in the creation of a plan as well as the implementation and critique following a crisis. Attendees will receive a special resources handout.
