Ever shake your head at the news and wonder how the PR people behind the scenes are dealing with that crisis? Have you ever been the one dealing with that crisis? Come share your nonprofit PR horror stories and let’s learn from each other’s experiences! This event centers around YOU! We will warm up with a few intro stories and then enter the main portion of the evening – speed networking. You’ll have the opportunity to share major learning milestones in your career and listen to other’s stories in a one-on-one setting. We’ll rotate through partners, so please come prepared with 2-3 stories. In addition to sharing stories, we’ll solicit feedback from one another. Suggested categories include crisis situations, internal communications, and technology.

PR pros at all levels are encouraged to attend. If you’ve been lucky enough not to have faced a crisis yet in your career, that’s great! Even if you don’t have a story to share, please plan to attend and soak up the stories from our PR colleagues.

Ericka Davis, Director of Communications and Media Relations at Atlanta BeltLine, Inc., will start the evening with a few of her own nonprofit crisis communications stories. We look forward to seeing you there!
