Every crisis is an opportunity. When your client survives the bombing of the Istanbul airport, what is the best way to help them share their story, and the story of their organization, with the media but do it in a way that safeguards their integrity?

PRSA Georgia IC SIG member Dan Curran, president of Curran Public Relations, recently led the media relations efforts that resulted in worldwide media coverage of the story of how the leader of the international missions agency of one of the world’s largest Protestant denominations survived the Ataturk Airport bombings. This coverage increased the visibility of the organization and enabled the leader to convey the powerful message he wanted to share with the world.

Curran will share the strategies and tactics Curran PR employed to gain media attention just as reports began to trickle out to the world about this attack that killed 45 people and injured hundreds of others.

Learn what he put in the subject line of his email that grabbed the media’s attention and resulted in coverage by such outlets as CNN, CNN International, Al Jazeera, Associated Press, BBC, CBS, MSNBC, Vatican Radio and others around the world.

This event is open to PRSA Georgia members and non-members.
