Corporate Communicators can kick off the New Year with a workplace relationship detox! Dr. Sandy Jap, author of Partnering with the Frenemy, has worked with some of the biggest companies in the world and has seen how relationships can make (or break) an organization’s success. In this interactive seminar, Dr. Jap will offer tips on navigating workplace politics and identifying key relationships to help impact your company’s bottom line in 2017. Outcomes of the session include key learnings for corporate communicators to:

  • Align on productive goals with colleagues and partners
  • Leverage skills of partners to succeed in new and different ways
  • Build just the right amount of rapport with colleagues and partners to create best outcomes for your organization
  • Learn to build trust over time and to heed warning signs of failing partnerships
  • Learn when to say goodbye gracefully to partnerships that don’t work without burning bridges

Sandy Jap is a Professor of Marketing at the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. She is a co-founder of the Emory Marketing Analytics Center (MAC) and an international expert in the management of partnering relationships and business-to-business issues. Her research centers on the development of organizationalrelationships and go-to-market strategies. She has won numerous awards for her impact on the field and the work has received significant attention from the academic community and the marketplace, including The Wall Street Journal and Harvard Business Review. Prior to joining Goizueta, Sandy served on the faculty at the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for six years and was a Visiting Associate Faculty member at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She received her PhD from the University of Florida.

Please Note:

  • Free self-parking is available in the parking garage behind the restaurant. There is a sign that says Maggiano's & Corner Bakery parking at the garage entrance. The parking lot that is adjacent to Maggiano's is now a PAID PARKING LOT with a charge of $7 per car. It is not owned by Maggiano's. If you park there, you must pre-pay or your car will be booted or towed.
