Our first Chapter Champion of 2024 is Krista Richmond, recognizing her contributions to the Newsletter Committee as co-chair. She plays a key role in gathering and organizing important updates from our PRSA Committees and ensuring timely distribution each month.
“Being part of the PRSA Georgia team has been a pleasure,” Richmond said. “It’s given me an opportunity to expand my network and my knowledge about the communications industry. I’ve enjoyed the professional development and the relationships I’ve built as a PRSA Georgia member, and I hope to continue that for a very long time.”
Richmond is internal communications manager in the University of Georgia’s Division of Marketing & Communications. She also serves as editor of Columns, UGA’s faculty and staff newspaper, and enjoys sharing the university community’s stories.
Richmond has 20 years of journalism experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Tennessee Technological University and a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Tennessee.
