Emily León has been selected as June Chapter Champion for her motivation and immediate engagement. Shortly after joining the Chapter, she volunteered for the Professional Development Committee. She quickly made an impact showing great initiative to plan, prepare and promote the in-person event in April while also transitioning to a new job.
“Jumping into PRSA as a committee member has been a tremendous experience for me,” Emily said. “It’s fast-tracked me to build friendships with seasoned practitioners I admire. I could have never foreseen how our industry would change at the start of my career. The ability to deepen connections with fellow communicators is not only fun – it’s a tremendous asset to hone the craft as our work will continue to evolve!”
Emily is currently an Account Director with Full Tilt Consulting, where she brings a decade of communications agency experience across three states, serving a diverse range of industries, client service excellence, metrics-driven brand strategy and polished communications deliverables. She also served a three-year stint in-house at Emory University. She brings clients the best combination of big-picture thinking and efficient execution, bringing colleagues along the journey with clarity and empathy. Emily has demonstrated leadership in the service of high-profile clients like The Coca-Cola Company, Chick-fil-A, Perdue Farms, Kilpatrick Townsend and prominent civil rights attorney Ben Crump to name a few.
Emily thrives on the challenge of strategic planning for multi-year, integrated communications campaigns that connect people to brands and move the needle on client business objectives. She earned a B.S. in Journalism and a minor in English from the University of Florida.
