The Chapter celebrates our October Chapter Champion, Marilyn Pearlman, one of our longest-serving members and an active volunteer with the Membership Committee since 2022. She is a fierce proponent of the power of in-person networking as a member retention tool and was a catalyst for restarting the Chapter’s networking mixers, which have been well attended.
“As a member of PRSA Georgia since the mid 1970s, it has truly been a great experience for me to be part of the Chapter,” Marilyn said. “I have missed the in-person networking since mid-2020 and I am so happy that I was instrumental in bringing it back.”
Marilyn is the Founder and President of Atlanta Cause Marketing & PR, a boutique Public Relations agency which since 1977 has helped for-profit and nonprofit organizations connect to each other. She has launched impactful and altruistic marketing and PR campaigns, as well as helped both businesses and non-profits to gain exposure through social media, speaking engagements, print and broadcast media coverage, community involvement opportunities and global alliances. Prior to starting her agency, Marilyn was a teacher within Atlanta Public Schools and a Public Information Officer for Atlanta Housing Authority. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Rhodes College.
