The news never stops and neither does Waffle House. Their communication team is on-call around the clock to address media concerns that range from the trivial to the substantial.

Pat Warner, director of PR and external affairs, will take a look at the 24-hour news cycle and how Waffle House is able to guide the media to tell the brand’s story, even in times of crisis. You will learn Waffle House's strategy for incident response, how Waffle House has become a barometer for FEMA during natural disasters, how Waffle House uses its employees to tell the brand's story and how an Atlanta brand has evolved to become about more than just waffles.
