Adjunct Faculty, Communication and/or Public Relations

Mercer University is accepting applications for adjunct faculty to teach courses in communication and/or public relations. Courses are offered during evenings and online over 8-week sessions. Mercer University College of Professional Advancement offers training and support for new adjunct faculty who want to improve their college teaching credentials.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • Must be a resident of the state of Georgia;
  • 18 graduate hours in Communication, Public Relations, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university;
  • Minimum of a master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.

Preferred:

  • University teaching experience, especially with working adult learners;
  • Experience with online course delivery;
  • Earned doctoral degree in Communication or related field.
