Assistant Manager, Corporate Communications

Job Description:
The Corporate Communications, Events and Philanthropy team is seeking a highly motivated, personable and collaborative assistant manager to provide support for our mobile app, corporate events, and our volunteer and philanthropy program.   • Develop content for our mobile app and digital platforms, to increase usage and build awareness while enhancing our user experience
  • Assist in content creation for internal emails and other internal channels
  • Manage relationship with various vendors including our mobile app provider and grants platform provider
  • Manage the shared team editorial calendar, ensuring enough variety of content and communications across our internal and external channels in an appropriately timed cadence
  • Develop strategies to help build our philanthropy program, including coordinating volunteer projects and working with our employee ambassadors and nonprofit partners
  • Assist with product donations and annual tracking of philanthropic giving across the business
  • Handle event logistics such as catering, transportation, ordering supplies, etc.
  • Other communications support and project management as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year university
  • 1-3 years work experience in project management, events or communications, ideally in an agency or corporate setting
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong executor
  • Quick learner
  • Highly flexible
  • Ability to stay cool in stressful positions and handle pressure
  • Poised, polished, professional
  • Good sense of humor and willing to roll with the punches
  • Strong writer
