President, Public Relations

Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role of President, Public Relations in our Atlanta office. The President is an essential part of the senior leadership team at LHG and responsible for being the face of the Atlanta office, cultivating relationships with both clients and new business prospects, developing strategic communications plans, maintaining relationships with the media, and providing exemplary management to a skilled team of PR professionals.

  • Organize and escort press trips, desk side and media missions

Talent/Experience:

  • BA/BS from a four-year accredited university
  • 10+ years full-time public relations agency or PR-related experience (Note: agency experience is a must)
  • Confident in new business pitches and presentations
  • Creative thinking
  • Strong detail and organizational skills, sensitivity to deadlines
  • Creative, high energy, can-do attitude
  • Strong writing skills (AP style), familiar PR software and Microsoft Office programs
  • Travel industry knowledge and languages a plus
  • Seeking to “learn the world”
