PRSA Georgia Pins New APR at March Monthly MeetingKim Resnik, APR, has been part of public relations in Atlanta for more than 20 years. Her experience has focused on higher education, culture and the arts, and she has contributed to the success of The Art Institutes, the Atlanta History Center and the Alliance Theatre Company. Currently she is principal of Kim Resnik Communications.

Kim has served as a board member for the ALS Association – Georgia Chapter, the Dogwood Festival Advisory Board and the Buckhead Business Association, and has been a volunteer for Junior Achievement and Hands On Atlanta. She is co-chair of PRSA Georgia’s website committee.

With a bachelor’s degree in English from Brandeis University and a master’s in communications from Georgia State, Kim has long advocated professional development and lifelong learning.

“No matter how much you think you already know, there is always something new to learn,” she says. “The accreditation process clarified my thinking and provided new understanding about public relations best practices. I am proud and honored to join the APR ranks.”

 

APR is a professional certification program open to public relations professionals. It is administered by the Universal Accreditation Board (UAB), a consortium of 10 leading industry organizations, including PRSA. Learn more about the APR here.
