The PRSA Georgia Chapter is proud to announce the winner of the 2021 Multicultural PRism Scholarship, Kaniya Bates!
Kaniya is a student at Oglethorpe University majoring in Communications. Kaniya’s passion and goal is to work for a non-profit organization that will advocate for emerging majorities. She will be honored during our Annual PRSA Georgia
First awarded in 2019, the Chapter’s scholarship supports students in their commitment to the practice of public relations and was formed to improve diversity in the field. The award assists and recognizes undergraduate and graduate students pursuing public relations or communications-related studies who self-identify as members of a historically marginalized and underrepresented demographic group.
