Congratulations to PRSA Georgia's January Chapter Champion Cristina AndersonCristina Anderson is the recipient of the January 2018 Chapter Champion Award for her dedicated volunteer work with PRSA Georgia. She leads the Chapter’s Membership Committee’s outreach to new and returning members. Each week, she welcomes new members to the Georgia Chapter and invites prospective members to join. She regularly represents the chapter at In Your Neighborhood events and serves as a greeter at monthly chapter meetings. Since joining PRSA in 1994, she has served on the Georgia Chapter’s board of directors and chaired numerous committees, including the Georgia Chapter 50th anniversary, awards banquet, public relations and college relations committees. Additionally she has volunteered on two PRSA International Conference host chapter committees and has participated in Real World resume critiques.

“The Georgia Chapter of PRSA has been invaluable throughout my career,” she said. “Not only have the professional development and leadership opportunities helped me to grow as a public relations advisor, but my professional network has expanded to include mentors and colleagues who have become life-long friends.”

Cristina is vice president at Poston Communications where she is focused on achieving organizational goals for clients through public relations and marketing communications programs. Her career spans 20 years, including clients in commercial and residential real estate, retail, hospitality, health care and the not-for-profit sector. She began her career in the Office of Presidential Personnel at the White House and progressed through the ranks at advertising and public relations agencies prior to creating an independent firm in 2002. Cristina graduated from American University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in international politics.
